Welcome to the Virtually Real Series website!
A Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 Community
From our main office, the VRS hosts a series of flights for
virtual pilots who fly for VRSair. Most of our flights are
based in S.E. Alaska using awesome freeware scenery by
Holger Sandmann, and team, called Glacier Bay v2 and it
is available from AVSIM. (it is required to fly for VRSair)
We also allow GA membership for virtual pilots who will
fly in the same "live" airspace with VRSair pilots.
Membership is free and we have our own flight server
and Teamspeak. (required for membership..it's free)
Our own VA, VRSair, is
looking for a few pilots
to join our race team.
That's right!! We fly to
every track!!! Dedicated
pilots only need apply
for these flights as they must be completed on
time and in a safe manner, live on the server.
I am in the process of updating the website so some changes in layout and
information is subject to change and inactive members will be removed as
this takes place. This will not affect new sign ups.
Interested pilots may sign up at this time by visiting our local news area. Signing up
will grant you the right to post in our forums, your questions and requests, about
what might interest you. If you have questions or concerns before joining you can
email me direct at: ceo(at)vrseries.com and I will respond as soon as possible. I check
everything each day after real world work.
We are happy to announce our Glacier Bay Ultralight Club is opening membership to all virtual pilots in a seperate
division of the VRSseries..Just a group of pilots getting together for fun flying and sight seeing in the Glacier Bay
area. This will be a weekly scheduled series of flights lasting about 2 hours at the most each. Again, membership
of the website will be required to participate. We will be flying the Quad City Challenger from Bill Lyons..freeware.
IMPORTANT: Signing up and NOT being active on TS or the website forums could lead to being removed from membership. Only serious virtual pilots should sign up.
